Windows 10 has the option to enable NTFS compression on your drive, this feature will automatically compress all files on the drive to a smaller size and do the work of this compression in the background for you. But if you’re here you know this and just want to know how to enable this feature, so let’s get started: 1. Open file explorer. 2. On the left menu, click on this PC. 3. Then you want to right-click on the device you want to compress and click properties.(note, the drive you select must be NTFS format) 4. Then be sure the General tab on the top is selected. 5. The check "Compress this drive to save disk space". 6. Then select Apply and ok. This will enable drive compression and could take some time for this to complete, wait for it to finish and you should be good to go. I hope this how-to was helpful, if you’re looking for any technical support, please check out my services at: Sinntechnologies.net Thanks for swinging by, have a good day!
